How Can I Get My eBook Created & Published With Minimal Outlay?
eBooks have changed the face of modern publishing and how people enjoy reading books. You can carry hundred or thousands of books around with you - all stored on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. As an author you want to get your masterpiece of writing out to that large digtal audience, but how do you do it?
In the old days you needed to find an agent and publisher to have any chance of success. However, that has changed. It has never been easier to create your own eBooks, to publish them and to market them. In theory anyone can create an eBook themselves.

Low Cost eBook Publishing
Although you can create your eBook yourself, many people are not comfortable doing this themselves. This is where White Media can help you. Unlike large publishing houses, we do not look at whether a new book is going to be a huge marketing success for us, or not. We help you convert your work into an eBook, which we can also help you publish and market.
The cost of creating an eBook is affordable and is based upon the size / length of the book and the time needed for us to convert your work into the eBook format. There are no recurring costs. Once your eBook is created, you can sell it online and take 100% of the profit of each sale for yourself!
How Is An eBook Created?

Once all of your copy is completed and ready to be sent to us for conversion into an eBook, we will discuss with you your preferred layout of the eBook, fonts, colours and any other details about how you would like the finished eBook to look. We also discuss the eBook's cover and whether you already have one, or if you want us to design it for you.
With this done, we prepare all the paragraph and character stylesheets ready to be applied to each chapter of your book.
Creating the eBook
With the design and layout agreed upon, we then start to create the eBook. Firstly we create all the stylesheets needed to format the paragraphs, headings, titles, page numbering, copyright, table of contents, dedication and other pages of the book.
Once this has been done, we create the book chapters as individual files and encapsulate them within the book structure. The styles are then applied to each element of the contents of the book and saved.
Proof Reading & Corrections
To keep the cost of creating your eBook as low as possible, we do not include proof reading into the cost of eBook creation. We simply take the material you supply us with and convert it into an eBook. (We do offer proof reading as an additional service).
With the basics of the eBook now created, we send you a copy of it to review and check for any typos you may have missed during your editing and to ensure the layout is as you want it to be, before you sign it off.
Cover & eBook Generation
Now that you have signed off the layout and styling of the eBook, we deal with the cover and the preparation for the completion of the eBook. The cover for an eBook is effectively what the front cover would be for a print book.
An ISBN number is not technically needed if you are just publishing on Amazon, but will be needed for any other market. If needed, we can supply you with an ISBN number at minimal cost. Once done, we generate the finished eBook!
Publishing the eBook
With your brand new eBook created, it is now time to publish it to Amazon or elsewhere. To do this, you will need to have an Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing account). This is easy to set-up. Within your KDP Bookshelf are the tools to create the saleable eBook and to upload the ePub file of your eBook.
Once we have your KDP account login, we start setting up the basics for the Kindle book. We will need a synopsis of the book from you, which will be the description you see in Amazon's Kindle store. We help you get the bok into the right Kindle categories and choose the markets you want to sell in, together with the eBook price. When all this is done we submit the book and await Amazon's acceptance before it goes live (usually within 24 hours)!
Marketing the eBook
Now your eBook is live on Amazon Kindle, it is time to market the book. By now, you should have created your Amazon Author Central profile and added your biography and book listing, which links to your KDP account.
Your marketing will probably centre around social media, word-of-mouth or paid advertising on Amazon, Google or Facebook. We also strongly suggest you have a dedicated book or author website built to showcase your work. This allows you independent control of your book's publicity away from Amazon and other third party platforms. We would be glad to help you with this.
